Strong storms produced damage tonight across SE Iowa, with several possible tornado touchdowns in Davis, Wapello, Monroe and Mahaska counties.

In Central Iowa, heavy rain was the main problem with minor street flooding occur in parts of the metro.

Overnight tonight rain will begin to subside, with a few more storms possible east of I-35. The main severe weather threat has passed in Central Iowa.

Monday will begin dry but more showers and a few storms may fire up again in the afternoon. The week ahead will be cloudy and cool with showers likely through Thursday.
