This year's Drake Relays had something for everyone.

The competition had world class high jump from the produce section, pole vault in the mall in front of a packed house on two levels and the Grand Blue Mile through downtown Des Moines.

And there was three time Olympian, Lolo Jones, back home with a smile on her face.

If they weren't the best relays ever, they're in the conversation. Eleven Relays records were shattered in four days, including a high jump for the ages.

Derek Drouin was named Maury White Award winner for his record jump of 7 feet 10 and a half inches. That equals the best jump ever on American soil.

Boone High School's Albert Meier became the first Iowa prep to run the 3,200 meters under 9 minutes. He was named outstanding boys performer.
