The last of the three teen involved in a brutal Des Moines carjacking and assault has taken a plea deal.

Kenneth Barry appeared in court Wednesday morning. He entered a guilty plea to second degree robbery and conspiracy to commit forcible felony.

He’ll be sentenced on June 23rd.

Police say Barry and two friends, Terrance Cheeks and Leshaun Murray, pulled Mike Wasike out of his car last February, beat him and left him on the side of the road.

Wasike suffered permanent brain damage and is receiving care in an Oklahoma rehabilitation facility.

Murray also entered a plea deal and Cheeks was found guilty by a jury. Both are scheduled to be sentenced in June.
