DUI CHARGE: Sober Driver Cited With DUI After Deputy Hits Her Car

owi02jpgMILWAUKEE, Wisc. – “It was a miracle I wasn’t paralyzed,” Tanya Weyker said about her February 2013 collision with a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The deputy, video proved, rolled through a stop sign and T-boned Weyker’s car. However Weyker, 25, was charged with drunk driving, according to a report on Fox6Now.com.

After the crash, Weyker said she told deputies she’d taken a few sips of a friend’s drink that night. When a deputy asked why her eyes looked red and glassy, Weyker said she told him she had been crying. She also told him she had taken Vicodin after she had her Wisdom teeth removed the week before.

Weyker’s injuries were so severe, deputies could not perform a field sobriety test. She was arrested anyway, on five separate charges including drunk driving causing injury.

“They made me into this criminal,” she said. “I knew I was innocent this whole time.”

In the weeks after the crash, test results showed Weyker had no alcohol nor drugs in her system, Fox6Now.com reported.

Weyker has since filed a complaint against the deputy who arrested her claiming he made up his version of the story to protect himself.

Another case of a “thug behind a badge” who thinks they can do anything they want to because they wear a badge. This is exactly why nobody trusts cops. They abuse their powers.

A cop is only as good as his supervisor, why do you think he still has a job after doing this woman that way. And wait don’t tell me, it’s surely the only time he’s done something like this, right?

“Rolled through”?!! Looks more like he blew through. You don’t bend a car like that just rolling through an intersection.

about 12 years ago my brother was passed out drunk LYING in the road, very well lit road, not moving sound asleep. granted not too bright. a cop came along at about 45 mph and ran right over him the cops name was never released to my brothers attorneys the BIG BLUE WALL went up and when the smoke cleared my brother had a broken back because of his state (drunk) it was determined that the cop was in the right and no actions were taken against him. to this day his name has never been released
