Joel Hanrahan has a new home.
The Norwalk native signed a one year deal with the Detroit Tigers on Friday.
Hanrahan though isn’t expected to pitch until mid-June.
The 32-year-old nicknamed “The Hammer” missed almost all of last season after undergoing Tommy John Surgery.
It’s believed Hanrahan will make $1-million guaranteed, with a chance of making as much as $3-million this season.
The tigers are Hanrahan’s fourth team in eight seasons.
