CANNABIS BILL: Gov. Branstad ‘Likely’ To Sign
Gov. Terry Branstad says he will “very likely” sign a bill allowing the use of cannabis oil to treat epilepsy.
Branstad made the statement during at a presentation Thursday in Webster City. The governor says he is reserving final judgment until he carefully reviews the legislation.
His spokesperson says the bill just arrived from the legislature Friday morning.
If the governor signs the bill it will go into effect on July 1st.
