Severe storms will continue to press across the state this evening. The biggest threat with tonight's storms will be large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado threat. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect through 10 PM for southwest Iowa.

More storms are expected on Mother's Day and the risk is even higher for tornadoes. The first cluster of storms will move through Sunday morning with brief drying mid-day. More storms will develop late Sunday. Again there is a risk of hail, damaging winds and possibly even long track tornadoes.

Showers will linger on Monday. The work week will be cooler with highs in the 60s.
