STORMS MOVE EAST: Cooler Conditions Return

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to push east and out of Central Iowa this evening. Flash flooding may occur at times in parts of southeast Iowa. A cold front is moving through and you will feel a difference tomorrow. In fact, temperatures will drop to the mid-40s by early morning.

The weather will be dry on Tuesday. Skies will be partly sunny and temperatures cooler. Highs will be in the lower 60s. We will stay in the 60s for daytime highs through the week. There is a slight chance of showers for Thursday.
