STUDENT ARRESTED: Woman, 31, Posed As High School Sophomore

A woman is behind bars after allegedly pretending to be half her age so she could attend a high school.

Teachers and students at the east Texas high school were stunned to find a student enrolled since October, 2013 was actually 31-years-old.

According to KLTV, police say Charity Johnson posed as 15-year-old high school sophomore Charity Stevens.

Police arrested Johnson for failure to identify/giving false, fictitious information.

KLTV reported that a family took in Charity after she claimed she came from an abusive family and they believed her story.
