A significantly higher run on sheep went through Colfax this past Saturday, with an increase in goats sold as well.

With 1,817 sheep, feeders brought the day's high average of $1.75 per pound. Fed lambs averaged $1.57 per pound.

Prices on the 77 head of goats ranged from $102.50 cents to $145 dollars per head.

There will not be a sale at Colfax next week, during Memorial Day Weekend.
