Tonight skies will be mostly cloudy. A few isolated showers and storms will develop this evening in northwest Iowa. They will slowly make their way through Central Iowa overnight as a cold front cross the state.

Tuesday looks mainly dry but a few isolated showers may pop up again in the late afternoon and evening. The cold front stalls out in southern Iowa and that’s where the best chance of showers will be.

Temperatures will rise to the 80s Tuesday and Wednesday and the week closes out in the 70s with a chance of some showers and storms each day. This week looks like your typical late week in May for our state.
