STORMY EVENING: More Scattered Storms Monday

Thunderstorms in Central Iowa dropped around .4" of an inch of rain in Des Moines today, with over an inch of rain in Lamoni. While the evening storms were strong, the storms stayed below severe limits in the state.

Memorial Day will be very similar to Sunday with mainly cloudy skies and pop-up showers and storms in the afternoon. Mostly locations will only see less than .20" of rain total Sunday through Monday. Temperatures will be warm in the mid 80s late in the day with humid conditions.

Tuesday and Wednesday stay the course with warm humid weather and isolated afternoon showers and storms. Drier weather arrives for Thursday and beyond. The temperature stay summer-like.
