SCATTERED STORMS: Unsettled Pattern Continues

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to rumble across Central Iowa this evening. These storms should stay below severe limits. However, heavy rainfall is possible with some of them. There is also a possibility of weak funnel clouds in Southern Iowa. These funnels should not reach the ground.

Temperatures will drop to the mid 60s overnight. Wednesday brings another warm and humid day. Pop up showers and storms are again likely, mainly in Eastern Iowa.

Drier conditions are expected Thursday and Friday with highs remaining in the 80s. But more storm chances return as soon as the weekend.
