ARSON INVESTIGATION: Fort Dodge House Fire Kills Family Dog

Investigators believe an early morning house fire in Fort Dodge, that killed a family dog, was intentionally set.

Emergency crews responded to the home, located at 805 South 18th Street, shortly before 2:45 a.m. Wednesday. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.

According to authorities, it appears someone forced their way in to the home and intentionally set the fire.

An investigation into the fire is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Webster County Crime Stoppers at 515-573-1444.
