Cash, Jewelry, Camera Taken in Des Moines Business Burglary

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are investigating a burglary at a small business.

Foto Fiesta at 1521 East Grand Avenue was targeted sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. The owner says she locked both door but when she returned one door was kicked in.

A cash register with nearly $500 in it was taken along with various jewelry, an iPad, a Nikon camera, a photo light and two formal dresses worth $1,800.

There is an alarm system but it was not active at the time of the burglary.

This is the second time the shop had been broken into since January of 2014.
