SAYLORVILLE LAKE, Iowa – Heavy rain in recent days means that the Saylorville Lake Reservoir is expected to rise more than 15 feet by the middle of next week. It’s currently at about 837 feet above sea level. By June 25th, it’s predicted to reach 852 feet.

Authorities said the rising water will impact the lake’s recreation. The Oak Grove Beach and lower marina parking will be under water soon.

Some lower boat ramps will close and the high water ramp will open on Friday.
