CLINTON COUNTY, Iowa — Authorities say they’ve pulled a man’s body from the Mississippi River in Clinton County.

WQAD reports the body was discovered Tuesday afternoon near the mouth of the Elk River.

Officials believe it is 60-year-old Charles Selser. Selser was driving a boat that capsized in the same area on Saturday.

Five people were on the boat. Eighty-five-year-old Nancy Selser also died but the three others made it to shore safely.

Officials say Selser was the only person on board who was not wearing a life jacket.
