Chuck Laudner helped Sam Clovis surprise many Iowans with his second place finish in the U.S. Senate Primary in Iowa.  Laudner, Congressman Steve King's former chief of staff and former executive director of the Republican Party of Iowa, then went down to Mississippi to support a tea party candidate in the U.S. Senate race there.  Channel 13's Dave Price talks to Laudner and learns how he almost unseated a U.S. Senator who has been representing Mississippi since 1978.

Laudner said the trip now makes him concerned about Republicans' chances in Iowa, because he fears Iowa lacks the same "intensity" he felt in Mississippi.
