Used Ames Community Schools’ Items Up for Sale

AMES, Iowa — The Ames Community School District is looking to sell off some items it no longer needs.

The district says because of rebuilding and remodeling projects to its elementary schools, a variety of used equipment is available for sale.

The items include textbooks, file cabinets, book shelves, student desks, office chairs, lockers, televisions, computers, and even a potter’s wheel.

Officials say all the items are being sold “as is” and will need to be paid for by cash, certified check, or cashier’s check.

The sale is being held July 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as well as July 19th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the old Edwards School building at 3622 Woodland Street in Ames.
