Fire Destroys Eastern Iowa Restaurant

FREDERIKA, Iowa — A small eastern Iowa town has lost a restaurant in an overnight fire.

The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office told sister station KWWL a fire started at Bottomz Up in Frederika at about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters from six departments were needed to fight the blaze.

No one was hurt in the fire but the building was destroyed.

The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
