IOWA CITY - Expectations are high for Hawkeye football.  Many fans expect double-digit wins.

One of the main reasons expectations are so high is All-American Left Tackle Brandon Scherff.

The Senior is widely considered the best offensive tackle in the entire country, and a sure-fire top 10 pick in next years NFL Draft.

Scherff, an avid hunter from Denison, Iowa recently hang cleaned 443 pounds, three times.  For those that don't know weightlifting, that's a lot.  It's an all-time Iowa record for a hang clean.

Iowa strength Coach Chris Doyle says he doesn't know of anyone moving that kind of weight.

Scherff anchors an offensive line that returns 4 starters from a year ago.

Iowa opens the season Saturday August 30th against UNI.
