DES MOINES, Iowa--Texas Governor Rick Perry showed Iowans he is seriously considering another run for president. Perry spent much of Tuesday walking, talking and smiling at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, a traditional must-stop for those considering a presidential run.
Tuesday marked the fourth straight day Perry traveled Iowa, matching the longest consecutive Iowa trip of any possible 2016 presidential contender. Perry spoke to several hundred people gathered around him during his speech at the Des Moines Register's Soapbox. He said, "You have the opportunity to change the trajectory, not just of the state, but of this country. That's why I came to Iowa."
