Six Arrested Following Prostitution Sting

ALTOONA, Iowa – Six people were arrested Wednesday night following a prostitution sting in Altoona, The Des Moines Register reports.

Officials used websites to set up meetings at an Altoona hotel, the Register reported. According to law enforcement, the sting was set up to target human trafficking. Investigators had expected to find underage victims, however, all of those arrested were adults.

Four of those arrested were charged with prostitution. Two were charged with aiding and abetting prostitution.

Those arrested were: Ebony Kaulieska Quarles, 25, St. Paul, Minn.; Montay Rayvell Yarbrough, 30, St. Paul, Minn.; Antquanet Josephine Davis, 25, St. Paul, Minn.; Melanie Patriece Smallwood, 24, Des Moines; Peoria Passion Shakeema Arnold, 21, St. Paul, Minn.; and John Robert Hussein, 26, Des Moines.
