EMMETSBURG, Iowa – The king is coming to Emmetsburg.
The King of the Netherlands, Willem Alexander, said he will visit the new “Project Liberty” Ethanol Plant in Emmetsburg on September 3rd.
It’s one of the first plants in the United States to begin producing ethanol from plant material. The $250 million project is co-owned by a Netherlands-based company.
