DES MOINES, Iowa — The nation’s largest volunteer food packing effort begins next week in Des Moines.
Meals from the Heartland has a goal of packaging at least five-million meals during its four-day Hunger Fight.
The event is scheduled to begin Wednesday morning at 9:00 at Hy-Vee Hall. It runs August 27th through the 30th.
