DES MOINES, Iowa — A majority of Iowa’s large businesses are expected to increase or keep their employment levels steady during the next six months.
That’s according to the Iowa Business Council.
It gives the overall current economic condition of the state a 65 on its index. That’s one point higher than last quarter.
Anything over 50 is considered positive growth.
The council is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that represents the state’s largest companies like Hy-Vee and Rockwell Collins.
