EVANSDALE, Iowa — Two years ago this Friday the bodies of two Evansdale cousins were found in Bremer County.

Ten-year-old Lyric Cook and her eight-year-old cousin Elizabeth Collins disappeared from Evansdale in July of 2012. They were found in a wildlife refuge five months later.

No arrests have been made in the girls’ deaths, but police say they continue to get new information. They say it is not very promising information, but it shows the case is still active.

There is a $150,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
