Arrests Made in Marshalltown Suspicious Death Investigation

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa - Two men have been arrested in connection to a mans death.

At about 8 p.m. Saturday, police found the body of an adult male in a mobile home located in the 3200 block of South 12th Street. The cause of the man's death is not known but investigators said it is considered suspicious. An autopsy is pending.

On Sunday,James Robert Head,18  and Jeremy Lynn Lavender,29, both of Marshalltown are being held in the Marshal County Jail. Head has been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. Lavender has been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Police said there is no known evidence or information available which would suggest the public is in any danger.  The man's name is not being released at this time.

The Marshalltown Police Department is being assisted in this investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Marshall County Attorney’s Office.

      No, he is a criminal with a nice long wrap sheet. The whole family is nothing but trouble. Let the murderer rot in jail just like the rest of his crappy family. Marshalltown needs to get rid of this trash like him.
