Search Continues for Suspect in Chariton Shooting

Robert-Eugene-GrahamCHARITON, Iowa – Police are searching for a man who is accused of attempted murder following a shooting in Chariton Friday.

A warrant has been issued for Robert Graham, 45, following Friday’s shooting. He is facing a charge of attempted murder.

Police responded 1701 Court Avenue Friday morning.  Officers found Gayle Darrah, 33, suffering from a gunshot wound.  She is currently in critical condition at a Des Moines-area hospital.

Graham is considered armed and dangerous. Police said they believe he is driving a gray, 2014 Toyota Corolla with Illinois license plates V872014. If you have information on his location call the Iowa State Patrol at 515-323-4360 or dial 911.
