DES MOINES, Iowa -- Drivers are facing a tricky morning commute Wednesday as a band of snow adds to the weekend’s snow storm.
The roads still have hints of that weekend storm which dumped more than a foot on some parts to the state.
Snow will begin tapering off in the Des Moines-area through the late morning hours.
We’re going to wrap this up as the morning commute has slowed down and snow has stopped in Des Moines.
City snow plows have been out this morning clearing yet another round of snow. Be careful on your morning commute. Roads are slick.

A tow ban is in place Polk, Jasper and Dallas counties.
Crash reported on I-235 eastbound just north of Guthrie Avenue. The crash is in the left shoulder – use caution if traveling in the area.
