Iowa, Iowa State and Northern Iowa Make NCAA Tournament

DES MOINES, Iowa — The state of Iowa will have three teams in the NCAA Men’s Tournament this year. The only other time that has happened was in 2005.

Iowa State will be the #3 seed in the South Region of the tournament. The Cyclones will play the UAB Blazers on Thursday in Louisville, Kent.

Iowa will be the #7 seed in the South Region of the tournament. The Hawkeyes will play the Davidson Wildcats on Friday in Seattle, Wash.

Northern Iowa will be the #5 seed in the East Region of the tournament. The Panthers will play the Wyoming Cowboys on Friday in Seattle, Wash.
