AMES, Iowa – A public meeting to provide information about scheduled improvements to University Boulevard south of U.S. Route 30 is set for April 2.
The improvements, which are planned to be completed during the 2015 construction season, are part of the expansion of the Iowa State University Research Park. The north/south traffic on University Boulevard and Airport Road will likely be maintained throughout the development.
The City of Ames, along with consultant Shive-Hattery, will host the upcoming meeting. It will feature a short presentation on the overall design, timing, and construction staging of the project.
The meeting is expected to run from 5:30-7 p.m. and will be held at Oakwood Church, which is located at 2400 Oakwood Road.
This project is funded through a Revitalizing Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Grant and General Obligation Bonds.
