AMES, Iowa – Iowa State Head Wrestling Coach Kevin Jackson’s contract has been extended through the 2018 season, the Iowa State Athletics Department announced Wednesday.

Iowa State finished the regular season ranked eighth nationally and posted an 11-2 dual record. The team’s winning percentage was the highest it’s been since 2010. The Cyclones qualified seven wrestlers for the 2015 NCAA Meet and were the Big 12 runner-up for the second time in the last three seasons.

Jackson has led the Iowa State wrestling team for the last six years. Full terms of the contact will be released at a later date.

Good for him! Don’t hear much about the wrestling team. All we hear about is Fred and the wonderful bb players.
