CLIVE, Iowa -- Police in Clive are investigating what they call "suspicious activity" after two men approached a boy waiting for a school bus Friday morning.

A press release said an 11-year-old boy was waiting for a school bus at NW 92nd Street and Indian Hills Drive when two men approached the boy in a pickup truck.

The vehicle pulled up to the boy and one of the men said "I think I know your name and your parents". The child said nothing and the pickup left the area as other students and the school bus arrived. Police said no action was taken by the occupants of the truck and the act was not illegal but was concerning to the child.

School officials are notifying parents of the incident and the Clive Police Department has initiated a documentary case.

The vehicle is described as a white pickup truck towing a trailer with a lawn mower.
