Spieth Charges, Zach Solid in 2nd Round of John Deere Classic

SILVIS, IL - It's a crowded leaderboard at the John Deere Classic after 2 rounds.   21 players are within 5 shots of the lead, including Jordan Spieth and Zach Johnson.

Justin Thomas is still on top at -12, he has a 1 shot lead.  Spieth made a big charge shooting a 7-under 64, the Masters and US Open champ is at -7.  Johnson fired a 2nd round 68 to sit at 8-under, 4 shots off the lead.

Des Moines native Zach Steffen finished at +11.
