One Man Arrested in Des Moines Shooting

DES MOINES, Iowa – One man was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly being involved in a shooting.

According to Des Moines police, officers heard 3-6 shots fired south of 3rd Street and Court Avenue just after midnight.

Officers began chasing a suspect, 19-year-old Dreshon Frazier, who had a stolen firearm in his hand.

Frazier was ultimately caught shortly after and taken into custody without incident.

He’s charged with trafficking a stolen weapon, interference with official acts, drug possession, and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
