Suspect Sought in Des Moines Git N’ Go Robbery

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is releasing several photos of a suspect who robbed a convenience store Monday night.

Authorities say the Git N’ Go at 4224 NW 2nd Street in Des Moines was robbed at 8:30 p.m. The clerk reported a man entered the store and pointed a gun at him, then demanded money.

The suspect left the store and ran westbound with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a white male, five-foot-nine, with blue eyes. He was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a black mask.
