DAVENPORT, Iowa – Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton spent the day in Eastern Iowa on Tuesday.
Clinton touched on several topics, including new laws for big banks and hedge funds behind the financial collapse of 2008. She also rejected the notion of sending more U.S. combat troops to Iraq.
In addition, Clinton is trying to educate Republican candidates on her accomplishments while she was Secretary of State.
“They say things like 'oh, I don't know what she accomplished as secretary of state, she didn't accomplish anything.' I listened to that for a while,” Clinton said Tuesday. “And then I thought, maybe they just don't know. So I have sent each of them a copy of my book “Hard Choices” about what we did during those four years.”
Clinton will campaign in Mount Vernon and Council Bluffs on Wednesday.
