Police Looking for Suspect Who Stole Christmas Gifts from Front Door

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole Christmas gifts from a homeowner’s front door.

Police say video captured images of a man stealing a package from the doorstep of a home in the 2400 block of East 33rd Street on Dec. 16.

The homeowner said the package contained Christmas gifts for children who live in the home.

Anyone with information suspect’s identity is asked to call the Des Moines Police Department’s Property Crimes Section at 515-283-4865 or the Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa at 515-223-1400.
