FORT DODGE, Iowa — A Chicago man is in the Webster County Jail on sexual abuse charges.

Shannon “S.K.” Sago, 21, is charged with one count of second-degree sexual abuse.

The Fort Dodge Police Department says the arrest stemmed from an assault reported on July 30, 2015. The department says officers were called to the Unity Point Emergency Room about a 14-year-old who had been sexually assaulted.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was called in to help the police department on the case.

Sago was arrested Tuesday in the case. Police say he lives in Chicago but frequently visits Fort Dodge.

Authorities did not release additional information regarding the alleged sexual assault.
