Iowa Ranked No. 16, Iowa State No. 17 in New AP Poll

The new college basketball AP Top 25 has been released and the Hawkeyes have moved up three spots, one spot ahead of Iowa State.

Iowa is now ranked No. 16 in the nation, while the Cyclones fell to No. 17.

Both teams are 12-3 overall, but the Hawkeyes have won five games in a row. The Cyclones have lost two out of their last three, including a home loss to Baylor on Saturday.

Iowa travels to No. 4 Michigan State on Thursday, and Iowa State hits the road to Austin to take on Texas Tuesday night.
