ST. CHARLES, Iowa — Organizers have announced the lineup for this summer’s Hinterland Music Festival and a country legend is one of the headlining acts.
Willie Nelson and singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne are the headlining artists of the second annual festival. It’s being held August 5th and 6th in St. Charles at the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater.
This is the second year the festival will be held in St. Charles. Flooding at Water Works Park in Des Moines last summer forced festival organizers to find an alternate location and its one they seem to have been very pleased with.
Tickets go on sale February 19th at 10:00 a.m. at http://hinterlandiowa.com/. Two-day general admission passes start at $95. Saints Passes for $599 include special access to viewing and backstage areas, prime camping, organic locally-sourced meals from a private chef, and free drinks.
Other acts announced to perform during the two-day festival are:
Cold War Kids
Lake Street Dive
Shovels & Rope
William Elliott Whitmore
