AMES, Iowa — With Iowa State’s season and Georges Niang’s career coming to an end on Friday night, the senior forward tweeted out a detailed statement to Cyclone Nation on Saturday morning.
The school’s winningest player and second all-time leading scorer thanked Iowa State University, Steve Prohm, Fred Hoiberg and all of his fans through a statement released via his Twitter account.
