WDM Police Searching for Vandals that Damaged 20 Vehicles

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — More than a dozen residents in West Des Moines became victims of vandalism this week.

Police say during the past several days, a vandal used a pellet gun to damage windows in two buildings and 20 vehicles.

Authorities are asking the public’s help in finding the suspect or suspects.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Polk County Crime Stoppers at 515-223-1400. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
