DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are connecting the dots between a long list of recent robberies.

Seven gas stations, all Git n’ Go stores, have been robbed in a little under a month. Some of the stores were even hit multiple times.

The most recent happened just this week at 2911 Douglas Ave.

Now police say they believe at least some of them are connected. The discovery comes after store clerks kept giving similar descriptions for the suspect.

They describe the person as a slender white male, likely in his 20s, and measuring about 5’11”.

So far police haven’t named a specific suspect, or made any arrests.
