Reward Offered in Spate of Des Moines Robberies

DES MOINES, Iowa -- A reward is being offered to help identify a suspect in a string of convenience store robberies in Des Moines.

Police say 14 metro convenience stores have been robbed since March 17th. Ten of those stores have been Git-N-Go locations.

Police say a general description of a suspect in many of the robberies has been developed. The suspect is a white male in his early to mid-20s, 5’10” to 6”, with a thin build.

Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of those involved in the robberies. You can call in anonymous tips to 223-1400.
