CLIVE, Iowa — The City of Clive announced that lanes on a heavily traveled part of University Avenue will be closed due to construction.

Lane closures are expected to start Thursday from Northwest 104th Street to the ramps at Interstate 35/80.

“Specific locations and lengths of lane closures will vary while the sawcutting is completed in this section of the project. At least one lane of traffic in each direction will remain open at all times,” the city said.

Delays are expected, so both vehicular and pedestrian traffic is encouraged to seek an alternative route.
