DES MOINES, Iowa -- A man was allegedly the victim of a hit-and-run that involved his niece on Monday.

Police say 55-year-old Donald Windfield was hit by a car driven by his niece, 17-year-old Kiara Olson.

Family members say the pair were arguing before Olson got into a car and pinned her uncle against a home and sped away.

This isn't the first time Olson has been wanted by the police.

In February, Urbandale police wanted to question her about an officer-involved shooting at a hotel.

Authorities never released details on her role in the investigation.
