URBANDALE, Iowa -- A youth soccer league spat heads to Urbandale city officials Tuesday.

It all started when Urbandale resurfaced the parking lots at two of its sports parks. They've asked the organizations who use them to split the fees.

One of the groups, the J-Hawks Soccer Club, says it doesn't have the $80,000 the city is requesting.

“Thirty-one thousand dollars a year is it for our revenue. Now compare that to other soccer clubs and the one in our town, their revenue is over $100,000,” says Matt Carver.

The Urbandale Parks and Rec Department has already approved the payment plan.

The city council will hold a public hearing on the plan Tuesday night, beginning at 7:00 at the Urbandale City Hall.
