Des Moines Police Investigate Bank Robbery

DES MOINES, Iowa - Police in Des Moines are looking for at least two people who robbed a bank Wednesday morning.

The U.S. Bank on Euclid Avenue was held up around 10:30a.m. They say some of the suspects were armed.

Officers were close by and were able to take several people into custody. One of the alleged bank robbers, a teenager, was pepper sprayed.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses to sort out what happened and how many people took part in the robbery.
